The Academe of Aurora Panthers began the season where they left off. They got strong contributions from the Kubiak sisters. Anna chipped in 11 aces and 7 kills, while her older sister Abby had 13 aces, 10 assists, 1 block. Newcomer to the team Holly Boyak 5 aces and 2 kills. Academe will face West Seneca Christian school next Thursday, and CAWNY on Friday before playing in the league-wide Julia Harmon Tournament on Saturday.
