The #4 Panthers finished off the Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association (CCAA) Division II slate at home on Thursday with a 57-12 win over Frewsburg to complete the 2024-2025 season with a perfect 5-0 record to capture the program’s first league title since 2012.
Gowanda captured a second straight 4th place finish at the Section VI Division II Duals only four days before hosting the two time defending league champion Randolph on Jan. 8. Against the Cardinals, Gowanda claimed wins at nine weights to secure the 43-21 victory, the closest margin of victory for the Panthers against their five league rivals this season.
Senior Greg Reid and sophomore Maddox Hudson led the Panthers going 5-0 in league duals this season.

Gowanda earned a massive program win over the WNY heavyweight Golden Falcons at the Section VI Duals, 40-29, but Falconer earned the 46-29 victory in the 3rd place match later that day.
