Eight first time Section VI champions, five repeat champions, and thirteen runners-up earned qualification to the NYSPHSAA federation wrestling championships on Sunday night at SUNY Fredonia’s Steele Hall at the 2025 Section VI Division II Wrestling Championships.

Ten returning NYS tournament place winners accounted for five individual Section VI titles by Sunday night while fourteen wrestlers who competed at the state tournament in Albany in 2024 requalified to return for the 2025 championships on Friday, Feb. 28 and Saturday, March 1 at MVP Arena in downtown Albany.
