Kenmore East improves to 6-1, Ethan Lang and Troy Normandin scored two goals each while Erik Freeman recorded 19 saves to earn the shutout victory.

The Red Devils (6-1-1-1) penalty killing unit came through with two shorthanded goals in a 10-6 win over the War Hawks (5-3-1-0) in a game originally scheduled for last month (PPD). Jeremy Dorigo scored a hat-trick for Clarence, Matvey Stremiakov and Logan Shelton scored twice int he win. Matt Appenheimer netted three goals for WSW, the same two teams play Friday night at West Seneca. Clarence has now won 5 straight.
There are two games on the schedule for Wednesday.

The first episode of WNYAthletics High School Hockey will be recorded tonight at the Northtown Center in the restaurant overseeing the Feature Rink. Taping begins at 7pm, stop up and catch the show.

In girls high school hockey Tuesday afternoon, eight teams were in action with 38 total goals being scored.
Williamsville trailed 5-2 in the third but made it interesting late when Allison Besancon scored to pull within a goal with :24 remaining, but SML hung on for the victory. Alanha Pagano had two goals and Meghan Donnelly had three helpers for the Lady Lancers. Betsy Accurso made 31 saves in the win. Anna Bacon faced 39 shots!
KenGIPort scored two goals in the third period to score the win over Lancaster/Iroquois/Depew/Alden in the late game. Isabella Jayme scored unassisted to break a 3-3 tie and Isabella Burt added the insurance goal to take the 5-3 decision. Isabelle Bourgeault had two goals and an assist in the win.
