Rabideau Breaks Clarence Wrestling All-Time Wins Mark

Clarence senior wrestler Aiden Rabideau captured this 205th career victory on Saturday at the Class AA tournament at Williamsville South, breaking the Red Devils’ all-time wins mark previously set in 2015 by NYS finalist Nate Schwab.

“It’s a great accomplishment for him,” said Clarence head coach Jason Chase after Rabideau’s record breaking win. “He has worked hard for this and has been an outstanding representative for our program throughout his career. It’s been on his radar since he’s been a seventh grader. He really wanted to leave the program as the all-time wins and pins leader.”

Rabideau is a two-time Section VI champion and a four-time state tournament participant which is the most appearances of any Clarence wrestler at the state championships. Since he has been in the varsity lineup beginning in middle school, Rabideau owns a number of program records including the Red Devils’ pin record which currently sits at 133 career falls.
